This weekend, my daughter Brittany and I went shopping and bought some identical clothes. One of my favorite things to do when Brittany was young was to wear matching outfits — which lasted until she got a style of her own at about 8 or 9 years old.
Here we have the same white tops, black pants and leopard sweaters. We wore these outfits when we went to dinner at the Elephant Bar. We had grilled salmon, rice and vegetables. She had iced tea and I had a glass of Merlot, made from Round grapes.
She’s back at school, far away, wearing our new outfit, all while I remain at home, also wearing our new outfit. We become more “Like mother, l like daughter” than ever before!
